Blush Collection

I know I haven't been too active recently but I'm moving houses and I can't believe how much time makes you spend on it...I can't wait till I move definitely to my new flat. Meanwhile, all is packing, moving services, changes address or cancel accounts...a nightmare...

But let´s move to the nature of the today's post :)

Makeup is one of my many big loves along with books and skin care products...and today I'm here to share with you, my blush collection. If you're as pale as I am, you may find that a bit of blush in your cheeks makes you look healthier and that's the main reason that makes me love blushes.

I will divide this collection into three sections:

• RED: 

Somedays you want a bit of colour in your cheeks, you want to have a glow, to look glamorous, to attract the light and, in my opinion, these three blushes are perfect, especially in spring-summer when all colours are brighter. The only thing that you need to consider is that all blushes are buildable and excess of this shades could make you look terrible.

My favourites are New Red by Dior, Orgasm by NARS and Peach Glow by Rituals.

• BROWN:

This is perfect to add a bit of warm, definition and elegance to your face. I prefer these shades in autumn, when the weather still sunny, and you use berry lipsticks and some scarfs...also gives definition to the cheeks and looks brilliant with a gold based highlighter.

My favourites are Santa Rose and Bronze by Rimmel London and Lovejoy by NARS

• PINK:

These are perfect for a natural glow, a bit of colour that will make you look healthier but that can look so natural that people will be unsure if you wear or not a blush. Is perfect for any season of the year.

My favourites are The One by bareMinerals and Rosy Glow by Dior.

FEBRUARY FAVOURITES

- FEBRUARY FAVORITES -

Another month has already gone...and has been a great one...holidays could be the word to describe it. 

My favs of this month are:

BOOKS:

I loved my first Owlcrate box but I haven't done very well in the reading side...so have to be Passenger...a time traveller story is always a favourite to me :) 

SKINCARE:

Always difficult this one..have tried again a few new products and I have loved each of them but the favourite goes to Sunday Riley, Blue Moon.

FASHION:

February has been easy in this section, an accessory that I have used a lot from Topshop.

TRIPS:

Very difficult to choose...this month I have travelled quite a lot...but I think I will choose Dublin as my two days there were wonderful and I want to come back soon. 

MOVIE & TV SHOW:

This month I haven't been able to go to the cinema but I have seen few tv shows. I was so happy when two of my favourites come back: The Walking Dead and Vikings. Obviously, both make into favourites of the month but I have also started to watch The Flash and Lucifer and I'm enjoying both. If you haven't watched any of them yet, I highly recommend to. 

MUSIC:

Spotify has been busy this month or should I say Spotify is always busy...but the top three will be: Sorry by Justin Bieber; Afroki by Steve Aoki and Por fin te encontré by Cali y el Dandee and Juan Magan. First and second ones helped me with my gym motivation and the third one...listened a bit too much in Spain, hahaha. 

VIDEOGAMES:

What a month...for all the Pokemon fans has been great, Nintendo gave us a great present when editions Red, Blue and Yellow went out again...lots of memories of my younger years...playing it again is adorable and I have received my Bravely Second Collector's Edition and I'm completely in love with it...

JANUARY FAVORITES

Can't believe January is already gone...must say has been a productive month and a good start of the year. 

My favs of this month are:

BOOKS:

This month I fell completely in love with Red Queen universe and I can't wait for having in my hands the next episode in this adventure.

SKINCARE:

This a difficult one...have tried quite a few new products and I have love each of them but I will pick Skinesis Overnight Facial.

FASHION:

January hasn't been specially productive in this area but I will choose my new bag from Bimba&Lola. Is comfortable, cute and not too big. 

TRIPS:

Unfortunately this month I haven't managed to travel anywhere...

MOVIE & TV SHOW:

In this section I will say Star Wars Episode VII (I know was released in December 2015 but I've watched it again in New Year's Day) and tv shows...I'm so happy with the adaptation of Shadow Hunters. The movie was terrible (in my opinion) but the tv show is great at the moment. 

MUSIC:

Spotify has been quite busy this month but this song has always made me feel good, Cheap Thrills by Sia

VIDEOGAMES:

Another section that hasn't been very productive...but I have started yesterday my early access to Bravely Second, is a spacial demo and I love it.

Lips, lips, lips!

Autumn / Winter lipsticks

Para mi elegir el color perfecto de labios es una tarea difícil...mi sección de pintalabios crece y crece cada día...nunca se tienen suficientes...(¿verdad? ¿o sólo me pasa a mi?)
Este otoño-invierno me he enamorado de los tonos "berry". Creo que en otoño son ideales con los tonos rojos, naranjas y amarillos que nos brinda la naturaleza. En mi colección tengo más de los que aparecen en la foto pero mis favoritos de esta temporada son:
Anastasia Beverly Hills en CRAFT. Es un tono mate, de larga duración y fácil aplicación. Si quieres empezar con estos tonos, puede ser tu elección perfecta ya que no es tan oscuro como los otros.
Yves Saint Laurent número 54 y Charlotte Tilbury en GLASTONBERRY son muy similares pero YSL tira más a morado y Glastonberry tiene algo más de rojo en su fórmula. Ambos son mate pero no dejan la sensación de labios secos al usarlos.
Por otro lado, para esos días en los que solo quieres un toque de color, recomiendo SWAN de Dior Nude. Es un color que puede usarse todo el año y que queda perfecto con cualquier colorete. La fórmula es muy nutritiva.
Por último, llegan los rojos. Al igual que con Swan, ambos son perfectos para cualquier época del año pero esta temporada me han acompañado tanto en días de trabajo como en días de ocio. Ambos tienen un terminado mate. Puedes usarlos solos o combinarlos.

Choosing the perfect lipstick isn't easy...my collection is growing up daily, or maybe monthly...you never have enough lipstick...don't you think? 
This autumn-winter I fall in love with the "berry" ones. I just think it's perfect with all the autumn colours, red, orange, yellow...that nature gives to us in time of the year.
My collection is a bit bigger but these are my favourites:
Anastasia Berverly Hills in CRAFT is perfect for begginers in this shade as is not as intense as the others and is a longlasting mate liquid lipstick.
Yves Saint Laurent number 54 y Charlotte Tilbury in GLASTONBERRY are very similar shades but YSL goes more to purple and Glastonberry goes more to red. Both of them are matte lipsticks but you will not have the feeling of dry lips when using them. 
Going to other place of the colour range we have SWAN by Dior Nudes. This lipstick is quite nutritive, the shade goes well with all makeup and blush and also is perfect for anytime of the year. 
Last but not least, is time for red lipsticks. Both of them are from YSL and both have a matte finish. I use them in my working days and in my days off; somedays I use both of them together.

Y siempre, siempre, siempre sea la época del año que sea hay que hidratar los labios, normalmente uso uno de ellos en mi rutina nocturna y alguno va conmigo en el bolso siempre. Me encantan los tres, normalmente elijo el que está más a mano.

And always, always, always your lips need care and moisturising, whatever the time of the year we are. I tend to use one in my night skincare rutine and you can find one in my bag all the time. I love all of them, I just use the one I have on reach.

Mis MÁSCARAS DE PESTAÑAS favoritas

Dear Autumn...

Como adicta a la moda y la cosmética tengo varios productos favoritos. Hoy me voy a centrar en un producto que ayuda a realzar los ojos; la máscara de pestañas. Como siempre me han dicho, los ojos son el espejo del alma y unos ojos llamativos pueden ser considerados como uno de los rasgos más atractivos...

Desde mi punto de vista, la mirada que se ofrece con y sin máscara de pestañas es muy diferente. Dentro del maquillaje, el uso de este producto es uno de los más sencillos y rápidos. Las opciones son muy variadas (cepillo, tono, marcas...)

Para mi es un esencial y tengo, al menos, siente en mi cajón y siempre hay espacio para una nueva...

Mis favoritas por ahora son:

• RIMMEL LONDON:  Wonder’Full Wake Me Up Mascara

• Perfecta para uso diario y acabado natural. La pigmentación es muy buena y añade un negro intenso a las pestañas, no deja grumos. En relación calidad-precio es un gran producto. Además tiene extractos de pepino que ayuda a levantar las pestañas. Otro de sus atractivos es el olor y el el exterior del producto, de un verde intenso y llamativo. Es la que uso en mi "día-a-día", en especial, cuando trabajo y tengo que madrugar (Precio aproximado: UK-5.99 / España-7.50 )
• L'ORÉAL PARIS: Superstar Mascara 

• Perfecta para un look nocturo. Da volumen, define, la pigmentación es intensa. Personalmente, recomiendo usarla con un delineado negro y una sombra de ojos. Como puede verse en el envase, tiene dos productos, el primero es blanco y ayuda a crear el efecto "pestañas postizas" y el segundo es negro, que ayuda a matizar. El precio es un poco más elevado, pero el resultado es muy bueno. El exterior del producto es elegante. Siempre es mi elegida en ocasiones especiales (Precio aproximado: UK-10,00 / España-14.95 )
• BENEFIT: RollerLash Mascara

• Perfecta tanto para un look natutal como para uno más intenso, el truco está en como usas el cepillo ya que es muy flexible. En ambos casos va a dar volumen y longitud a las pestañas. El exterior es súper llamativo y original, junta negro y rosa con el toque característico de Benefit. Es mi máscara perfecta para los días que no tengo que madrugar y quiero darle un toque natural pero más definido a mi mirada. Una alternativa más económica es Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara cuyo precio en UK es 7.99. (Precio aproximado: UK-19.50 / España- 25.50)
• DIOR: DiorShow Waterproof Backstage Mascara

• Perfecta para dar volumen, longitud, definición y pigmentación a las pestañas. Diseñado para que el cepillo no tenga exceso de producto, no deja grumos y no se seca fácilmente. Si tienes el presupuesto y adoras unas buena máscara, recomiendo que inviertas en esta. Como casi todos los productos de maquillaje de Dior, el exterior del producto es elegante y sencillo. Perfecta para ocasiones especiales y días en los que quieres una mirada definida pero no quieres un efecto "pestañas postizas" (Precio aproximado: UK-24.50 / España-34.90 )
