FIRST IMPRESSION / REVIEW OF MARCH SHOPPING

- FIRST IMPRESSIONS / REVIEWS - SKINCARE - BEAUTY -  

Good afternoon everyone! 

I'm here today with a different post. Recently I have been quite active in my Instagram with different pictures of my March skincare / beauty / haircare shopping and after a few days using them I come with my first impression or review of most of the items. 

March started with a big temptation...I went to London with a friend and I couldn't resist SpaceNK. Once I was inside, I had a small "look around" and ended talking with a lovely member of the staff and discussing skincare products. She recommended me 3 products of a brand that I haven't heard before, BAKEL. I don't know if you are familiar with the brand but for my was the first contact. If I'm completely honest, is not a cheap brand and I wasn't sure about it, so she gave me 3 samples. And I have tried already 2 of them. As I wanted to check results I haven't applied the 2 first days other products and after it, I combined it with my actual skincare routine. 

• BAKEL MALIC: I'm very impressed with my first impressions. Is not a heavy serum and it helps with my pores. Also, I was advised to apply directly if having spots and I did. Next morning the spot has gone. Overall I have added this product to my wishlist. The only thing you need to be careful with is sunlight. You can't use it during day time. Is a night skincare product due to malic acid. It gives to the skin a lovely healthy glow.
• BAKEL NUTRIREMEDY: I haven't found yet my ideal moisturiser and this one seems lovely. Is not heavy or oily. You can feel your skin better, healthier. It comes as a cream for very dry skin but I have combination skin and it works lovely on me. Also added to my wishlist.
• BAKEL LACTOBIONIC: this one is a daytime serum but also can be used at night. Again is not heavy on the skin and helps to nourish. This is the one that I like less. Don't get me wrong, is very nice but I prefer the other two. 

My purchase that day in SPACENK was also from a brand that I'm not familiar with, SJÄL and the balans deep pore cleanser. I'm so in love with this product right now. Is so soft and nice with the skin but really works. The skin is clean, very soft, hydrated and balanced. Also helps with pore minimization. Overall, very happy with the product and wasn't terribly expensive (£47) 

This product is something I want to try for so long. I think our body needs now and then some detox. I love my skincare routine and I check and take care of my diet but I believe is also important to take care of our organism and after a deep research I decide to buy SKINNYMINT teatox. I went for the 14 days trial just in case my body reacts wrong to it or I dislike it a lot. When you buy it, come 2 bags, Morning Boost and Night Cleanse. The first one should be taken before 5 pm as it contains caffeine and the flavour is great. It helps me to reduce the amount of coffee I drink through the day. The second one should be taken every other day and I won't lie, the flavour isn't the best but could be drunk. 

I'm on my first week and can say I'm quite happy. I feel like having more energy, my skin looks good and in general, I'm feeling better. If you are thinking about a detox, go and check this one.   

I know this is a long post but we are coming to the end. I tend to buy more high-end products than drugstore but this month I didn't for a change. 

• Maybelline master drama khol liner in dark brown: feeling like going back to my younger years with this but some days I just want something more natural and less intense than my black eyeliner. This is quite creamy and I don't like it if isn´t blended with a brush. Used in that way, I love it. 
• Rimmel London blushes in 080 BRONZE and 010 SANTA ROSE: both very soft, happy and perfect for spring/summer days. The pigmentation last all day.  Very happy with the formula. 
• Collection lasting perfection concealer in 2 cool medium: I have heard lots of good thing about it and always have been told that is a cheap version of Nars concealer. I picked tone 2 as advised by a member of the staff and I find it is quite not the right tone so I went back and picked tone 1 and I'm so impressed with the formula, the way it blends and covers my undereyes area and the redness around my nose. I really really love it. 
• Pantene expert collection advance keratin repair: I'm so in love with my Pureology shampoo and conditioner but when I went to buy a new one only received bad news: out of stock. I checked different websites but no luck so until is back I decide to try this one and I'm happy with the choice. Smells lovely and leaves the hair clean and nourish and so far I don't need extra hair washing.

FEBRUARY FAVOURITES

- FEBRUARY FAVORITES -

Another month has already gone...and has been a great one...holidays could be the word to describe it. 

My favs of this month are:

BOOKS:

I loved my first Owlcrate box but I haven't done very well in the reading side...so have to be Passenger...a time traveller story is always a favourite to me :) 

SKINCARE:

Always difficult this one..have tried again a few new products and I have loved each of them but the favourite goes to Sunday Riley, Blue Moon.

FASHION:

February has been easy in this section, an accessory that I have used a lot from Topshop.

TRIPS:

Very difficult to choose...this month I have travelled quite a lot...but I think I will choose Dublin as my two days there were wonderful and I want to come back soon. 

MOVIE & TV SHOW:

This month I haven't been able to go to the cinema but I have seen few tv shows. I was so happy when two of my favourites come back: The Walking Dead and Vikings. Obviously, both make into favourites of the month but I have also started to watch The Flash and Lucifer and I'm enjoying both. If you haven't watched any of them yet, I highly recommend to. 

MUSIC:

Spotify has been busy this month or should I say Spotify is always busy...but the top three will be: Sorry by Justin Bieber; Afroki by Steve Aoki and Por fin te encontré by Cali y el Dandee and Juan Magan. First and second ones helped me with my gym motivation and the third one...listened a bit too much in Spain, hahaha. 

VIDEOGAMES:

What a month...for all the Pokemon fans has been great, Nintendo gave us a great present when editions Red, Blue and Yellow went out again...lots of memories of my younger years...playing it again is adorable and I have received my Bravely Second Collector's Edition and I'm completely in love with it...

February - Skincare Haul

Se suponía que en febrero había que resistir la tentación de comprar por ser un mes corto pero como podéis ver yo no he resistido la tentación. Fui una vez más a SpaceNK y se vinieron conmigo varios productos de limpieza para la cara. De momento estoy muy contenta con todos ellos. El limpiador de Sarah Chapman estaá sustituyendo al de Sundey Riley. Ceramic Slip es uno de mis favoritos pero, recientemente, mi cara me estaba pidiendo un cambio y parece que he acertado. También compré Blue Moon con el que estoy encantada. Por último, Aurelia Miracle Cleanser tras usar la muestra el mes pasado.
El mes que viene me mantendré alejada de SpaceNK, CultBeauty, Boots o cualquier tienda que me ofrezca estos productos.

February suppose to be a month to resist temptations and I didn't...I went to SpaceNK and ended buying three different face cleaners. I really like all of them and my skin is really happy when I use them. Sarah Chapman one has replaced Ceramic Slip by Sunday Riley. I still in love with it but my skin has been asking for a change a long time and seems that has made a good decision.

Also, I have bought a Blue Moon and I love it! Last one has been Aurelia Miracle Cleanser as I have used a sample last month and found it really good.

Next month I won't buy any skincare product, will stay far away from SpaceNK, CultBeauty, Boots or any other shop with this kind of products.

Can't believe January is already gone...must say has been a productive month and a good start of the year. 

My favs of this month are:

BOOKS:

This month I fell completely in love with Red Queen universe and I can't wait for having in my hands the next episode in this adventure.

SKINCARE:

This a difficult one...have tried quite a few new products and I have love each of them but I will pick Skinesis Overnight Facial.

FASHION:

January hasn't been specially productive in this area but I will choose my new bag from Bimba&Lola. Is comfortable, cute and not too big. 

TRIPS:

Unfortunately this month I haven't managed to travel anywhere...

MOVIE & TV SHOW:

In this section I will say Star Wars Episode VII (I know was released in December 2015 but I've watched it again in New Year's Day) and tv shows...I'm so happy with the adaptation of Shadow Hunters. The movie was terrible (in my opinion) but the tv show is great at the moment. 

MUSIC:

Spotify has been quite busy this month but this song has always made me feel good, Cheap Thrills by Sia

VIDEOGAMES:

Another section that hasn't been very productive...but I have started yesterday my early access to Bravely Second, is a spacial demo and I love it.

Hola de nuevo, hoy os traigo mi skincare haul de enero, llega un poco tarde pero a principios de mes fui a SpaceNK y siempre que voy debo resistirme mucho para no comprar todo, además hice pedidos a CultBeauty y FeelUnique. La verdad es que estoy muy contenta con todos los productos.

I know is nearly end of the month but better late than never...when January started I went to SpaceNK and I have always to control myself there, so many temptations. Also I ordered some products in CultBeauty and FeelUnique. I have to say I'm so so happy with all of them.

GOOD GENES by Sunday Riley.

Dear Autumn...

Hoy quiero hablar de uno de mis productos favoritos y del que puedo asegurar es muy efectivo; Good Genes de Sunday Riley. Durante mi adolescencia tuve bastante acné y me quedaron algunas marcas en la piel, especialmente en el cuello. Cuando me recomendaron este producto dude en comprarlo. Lo primero por el precio (£85) y lo segundo porque parecía demasiado milagroso pero tras mucho pensarlo lo compré y todo lo que pueda decir es poco. Desde el primer día noté la diferencia, reducción en las marcas, balance general en toda la piel. El tamaño es de 30 mls pero dura bastante ya que no se necesita mucho producto. Puede usarse también como mascarilla y mezclado con ceramic slip. Algunas personas dicen que el olor es desagradable; personalmente no es mi caso. Tiene un ligero toque a limón. Al aplicarlo puede notarse un ligero cosquilleo.

Para mi es un indispensable de mi rutina de cuidado de la piel. Normalmente lo uso por las noches, tras quitar el maquillaje y usar un tónico, aplico good genes por toda la cara y el cuello y tras unos minutos uso un aceite facial. Por las mañanas el aspecto de la piel es genial y apenas tengo granitos desde que lo empecé a usar. Las marcas han desaparecido en un 90% y el 10% restante está casi desaparecido. Es un poducto 100% recomendable y nunca me cansaré de hablar de él. Soy una gran fan de Sunday Riley y prueba de ello son: 3 tarros de ceramic slip, 1 de artemis facial oil, 2 de good genes y en mi lista de "cosas que comprar" está blue moon balm y pensando muy seriamente sobre luna facial oil....

Today I want to talk about one of my most favourites and effective products in my collection; Good Genes by Sunday Riley. When I was a teenager my skin was a mess and had quite heavy acne. Nowadays I have some marks, specially in my neck.
The first time I heard about this product I have my doubts...price (£85), all the miracles that people said it did...but after thinking a lot about it, I bought it and I don't think I can say enough good things about it.
Since the first application I have noted the difference in my skin, the marks went down, overall the skin loos more balanced, next morning I had an amazing glow...and all just after one day. Now, I can't imagine my life without it in my skincare routine. Some people says this smell terrible but isn't my case, has a lemon essence. When you apply it, you may feel a bit of a tickling sensation.
I tend to use it in my night skincare routine after cleaning my skin and using some tonic. Then I apply it all over my face and neck and few minutes later I use a facial oil.
My skin now looks awesome, all my marks has disappeared in a 90% and the 10% left is nearly gone. I rarely have blemishes, every morning my skin looks like I have had 8 hours sleep and that is so weird to happen...
I will always recommend this product and this brand. I´m a big fan of Sunday Riley, proof of it is: 3 bottle of ceramic slip, 1 bottle of artemis facial oil, 2 bottle of good genes and in my list to buy is blue moon balm and thinking about luna oil...
