FEBRUARY FAVOURITES

- FEBRUARY FAVORITES -

Another month has already gone...and has been a great one...holidays could be the word to describe it. 

My favs of this month are:

BOOKS:

I loved my first Owlcrate box but I haven't done very well in the reading side...so have to be Passenger...a time traveller story is always a favourite to me :) 

SKINCARE:

Always difficult this one..have tried again a few new products and I have loved each of them but the favourite goes to Sunday Riley, Blue Moon.

FASHION:

February has been easy in this section, an accessory that I have used a lot from Topshop.

TRIPS:

Very difficult to choose...this month I have travelled quite a lot...but I think I will choose Dublin as my two days there were wonderful and I want to come back soon. 

MOVIE & TV SHOW:

This month I haven't been able to go to the cinema but I have seen few tv shows. I was so happy when two of my favourites come back: The Walking Dead and Vikings. Obviously, both make into favourites of the month but I have also started to watch The Flash and Lucifer and I'm enjoying both. If you haven't watched any of them yet, I highly recommend to. 

MUSIC:

Spotify has been busy this month or should I say Spotify is always busy...but the top three will be: Sorry by Justin Bieber; Afroki by Steve Aoki and Por fin te encontré by Cali y el Dandee and Juan Magan. First and second ones helped me with my gym motivation and the third one...listened a bit too much in Spain, hahaha. 

VIDEOGAMES:

What a month...for all the Pokemon fans has been great, Nintendo gave us a great present when editions Red, Blue and Yellow went out again...lots of memories of my younger years...playing it again is adorable and I have received my Bravely Second Collector's Edition and I'm completely in love with it...

JANUARY FAVORITES

- JANUARY FAVORITES -

Can't believe January is already gone...must say has been a productive month and a good start of the year. 

My favs of this month are:

BOOKS:

This month I fell completely in love with Red Queen universe and I can't wait for having in my hands the next episode in this adventure.

SKINCARE:

This a difficult one...have tried quite a few new products and I have love each of them but I will pick Skinesis Overnight Facial.

FASHION:

January hasn't been specially productive in this area but I will choose my new bag from Bimba&Lola. Is comfortable, cute and not too big. 

TRIPS:

Unfortunately this month I haven't managed to travel anywhere...

MOVIE & TV SHOW:

In this section I will say Star Wars Episode VII (I know was released in December 2015 but I've watched it again in New Year's Day) and tv shows...I'm so happy with the adaptation of Shadow Hunters. The movie was terrible (in my opinion) but the tv show is great at the moment. 

MUSIC:

Spotify has been quite busy this month but this song has always made me feel good, Cheap Thrills by Sia

VIDEOGAMES:

Another section that hasn't been very productive...but I have started yesterday my early access to Bravely Second, is a spacial demo and I love it.

THE DANISH GIRL

BIOGRAPHY . DRAMA . THE DANISH GIRL

Esta película tiene todos los ingredientes para una o varias nominaciones a grandes premios...nos cuenta la historia de Einar y Gerda Wegener, una pareja de artistas disfrutando del éxito en los años 20. Gerda le pide que pose con ropa femenina para uno de sus trabajos y desde ese momento Einar empieza a sentirse más cómodo como Lili que como Einar. Es la historia dramática, de apoyo y amistad...La historia nos lleva hasta 1931 cuando Einar se somete a una polémica operación de cambio de sexo, siendo pionero en ello. Los diarios que escribió siguen siendo un referente para muchas personas en la actualidad.

This movie can be consider as a candidate to many awards this year. The film will tell us the story of Einar and Gerda Wegerner, a couple enjoying their success in 1920. Gerda conviced him to pose with a dress and help her with one of her drawings. From that moment, Einar feel better being Lili. This is a dramatic story, about support and friendship...We will be with them till 1931, when Einar decide to be the first one going to a hospital and having a male-to-female gender reassignment surgery. During all this period, Lili writes many diaries and nowadays people still reading them. 

Eddie vuelve a hacer una actuación magistral y, en mi opinión, debería estar en la quinielas a ganador de nuevo. Alicia hace también un gran papel. Si tienes un rato, te recomiendo ir a verla.

Eddie shows again that he is a great actor and he should be back in the winning list this year. Alicia does  work also very well. If you have some free time, go to the cinema and enjoy it...

STAR WARS: el despertar de la fuerza

CIENCIA FICCIÓN . STAR WARS . EPISODIO VII .

Debo admitir que al enterarme de que la saga continuaría y que, además, no iba a ser de manos de George Lucas me entraron mil dudas... ¿estaría al nivel de las anteriores? ¿quién iba a ser el villano que ocupara el espcio de Darth Vader? ¿me gustaría? entre muchas otras y, tras haberla visto ya dos veces, solo puedo decir que ¡me encanta!

I must say that I wasn´t sure about this movie when I heard about it and many questions came to my mind when I read that George Lucas wouldn´t take part of it but after being in the cinema twice I only can say I love it!

Los nuevos personajes son geniales, volver a ver el Halcón Milenario en acción ha sido perfecto y, sin entrar en spoilers, en ESE momento se me han escapado unas lagrimillas. Rey va a ser una heroína genial y Kylo Ren puede ser un villano adorable y hablando de adorables...BB-8 encaja perfectamente en la descripción, lo confieso, quiero uno...por último, también hay humor y llega de manos de Poe y Finn.

The new characters are brilliant, watching the Millinium Falcon back in action was so perfect and, i wont go to the spoilers side, but I may cry a bit in THAT moment. Rey will be a great hero and Kylo Ren an adorable villain, talking about adorable...we have BB-8. I only can say that i want one...last but no less important, you can have some funny scenes with Poe and Finn. 

Sobre Disney, he de decir que la campaña de merchandising ha sido impresionante y de la que compraría mil cosas. 

Disney has done an amaizing merchandising campaign and I would buy many thnigs if i could. 

Mi único pero a la película y, simplemente, porque como súper fan de la saga, tengo que ponerle uno es la rapidez con la que Rey se adapta a la fuerza y lo bien que lo hace en su primer duelo...impensable con Anakin o Luke...y si, lo se, hay muchas teorías y, en mi opinión, dos de ellas explicarían muy bien este hecho...

The only "bad" thing and just because I´m a super fan and can´t say is perfect is that during the duel between Kylo and Rey, Rey fights so well and she has just heard about the force; I can´t imagine that happening with Anakin or Luke in the same situation...and, I know, I know...there are lots of theories and being honest, two of them can explain this fact so well...

Y vosotros, ¿habéis ido a verla? ¿os ha gustado? ¿qué opináis de las teorías?
